Walking over, I was now hoping the hash would be close enough to be able to get within the circle of uncertainty from the temporary construction fencing. Alas, it was just out of reach and I've got my first No Trespassing consolation in a long time. There were a couple small pink signs warning "Danger, Keep Out" and the hash was likely close to or on top of a pile of aluminum posts or siding about 50 feet/15 meters away.

What should have been an empty block near Greenwood Village

Expedition

After our drive from Tampa/Atlanta (see expeditions from the road trip here), there weren't any decently reachable/accessible hashes until Sunday. Saturday we drove up to spend the night in Vail, CO and did some hiking in Frisco, CO. We hiked up Mount Royal and then continued to Mount Victoria. Really awesome day.

Getting back to Denver Sunday afternoon, we tried going to the Science Museum for the Leonardo Da Vinci exhibit, but they were sold out for the day. Instead, we decided to try for the day's Geohash in the SE Denver Graticule. On the satellite maps, it appeared to be a block from a dog park with a large parking lot and in an empty field. Should be a piece of cake AND another new Graticule!

Driving up to the dog park after a short drive from the museum, I saw on the next block over from the park and hash, was a new building being constructed. I thought to myself "I'm glad it's not being built on the other block", but as we were parking I saw the construction company was using the hash block as a staging area...uh-oh.

Walking over, I was now hoping the hash would be close enough to be able to get within the circle of uncertainty from the temporary construction fencing. Alas, it was just out of reach and I've got my first No Trespassing consolation in a long time. There were a couple small pink signs warning "Danger, Keep Out" and the hash was likely close to or on top of a pile of aluminum duct-work(?) about 50 feet/15 meters away.

We sadly drove back where we had our spirits lifted after meeting up with my friend's fiancee for dinner and drinks. We then went to the brewery across the street from their apartment to have another beer and watch the sunset.

I was able to enjoy the Da Vinci exhibit the next morning with my friend before I had to head back to Buffalo. What an awesome trip!
