Seeing the hash on the side of the road in the country, I figured it wouldn't be bad to take a huge detour home after work to pick up another easy-to-get-to hash. Printing out the directions at lunchtime, I saw I would be adding about an hour to my drive home, but in all honesty, I didn't have anything planned besides have some dinner and watch some TV. At least now, I'd be going on an adventure. | Seeing the hash on the side of the road in the country, I figured it wouldn't be bad to take a huge detour home after work to pick up another easy-to-get-to hash.
Leaving work, I was happy to find Rush Hour wasn't as bad as it could be and I quickly made my way to the I-90 and then Rt 400. It was a nice drive out through the country until I got to the hash-road which was dirt. The potholes weren't that hard to miss as I made my way to the hash area where the road again turned to asphalt. Getting out my phone for the HashDroid app, I found I had a poor signal which made driving through the hash impossible as it was showing me driving off the road through the woods, haha. So much for not having to get out of the car. Completing a U-Turn, I tried again but ended up having to park and walk over. It was a longer than normal GPS dance, but eventually I got a good reading and some pictures.
The drive home through East Aurora was uneventful, and while I did contemplate stopping somewhere for dinner, I just drove home to take care of the dogs and take them for a walk around the neighborhood.
