Expedition
It poured some serious rain this morning, so I wasn't quite sure if I would be going after this near hash. But at the early afternoon it stopped and the sky cleared, so I took the chance.
Took the train to Les Fonts (literally meaning The Fountains in catalan), just a couple of stops from home, and walked from there. The hash fell in an industrial area, so it's not the worthies place to visit. And, as I expected from google maps, the hash fell on private property. I think it's a pharmaceutical company. I did not take my GPSr, and the GPS of my phone is not as precise.
So, as far as the tracklog it recorded shows, I reached the coordinates, but only because the GPS was not precise. I cannot call it a reached coordinates. The hash fell a few meters, 3 or 4, behind the fence. Took a picture and walked back.
I didn't go directly to the train station, I visited a little bit Les Fonts. I obviously encountered a few fountains. But what is more noticeably is the castle. And it's not an ancient castle with history or anything of this sort. As far as I know, it's a private recent construction from someone who simply wanted to construct for himself a castle. It's quite histrionic. A mash-up of styles and decorations. Beautiful? I wouldn't call it like that, but everyone is free to judge ;) It's certainly unique.
After that I slipped on some mud while trying to find a geocache and grabbed the train back home with a mud stain on the back of my white shorts ¿^^.
Tracklog
Recorded with my phone... you can see it's really bad.
