+ | :Hi Arlo, indeed, it's a special building mainly aimed at showcasing CERN to the non-physicist world. There are many other very large storage buildings around CERN, but they don't look anywhere close to as nice (mostly big concrete structures). If you're ever in the area, it's worth a visit. Interesting to read about The Globe; I always saw it in the background of CERN panoramic shots and assumed it was a storage tank or something. Arlo (talk) 20:25, 19 October 2020 (UTC)
- Hi Arlo, indeed, it's a special building mainly aimed at showcasing CERN to the non-physicist world. There are many other very large storage buildings around CERN, but they don't look anywhere close to as nice (mostly big concrete structures). If you're ever in the area, it's worth a visit. There are a lot of really cool buildings at CERN that I've been fortunate enough to see over the years. -Srs0 (talk) 21:33, 19 October 2020 (UTC)

- Unfortunately my geohashing SMS service has stopped working a while back due to a hardware defect. I want to restore it at some point (and add Signal), but anyway it's not an optimal way to get in touch with me. Best is probably to send me an e-mail through the wiki. --Crox (talk) 22:11, 20 October 2020 (UTC)
