Expedition
Not only was this hashpoint not too far from my neck of the woods, but I also happened to have already planned to do a family outing in which we would run errands in the area, so this expedition was something of a no-brainer!
I got there a little later than expected due to said errands--and not, as my parents joked, because of all the traffic headed to the hashpoint thanks to my fellow geohashers (there was one person parked nearby, but I rather doubt they were there to geohash). A little after 3 PM, though, I arrived at the point, hopped out of the car, and did a circle around the area I'd seen on the map back at home just to make sure I hit it. I didn't stay out for long, though--it was cold, I'd left my coat in the car, and my dog was very anxious for me to come back!
