We got out of the highway in Drummondville but stayed on a main road till a dirt road on the left. We were greeted by two large garbage containers and a road sign: "Nul ne peut circuler sur ces lots. À moins d'avoir été autorisé par les autorités compétentes." It is sort of a soft no-trespassing. Since we were not going to stay long and we didn't see anyone around; we decided to continue. But further, we hit a more clear no-trespassing sign. It is a no-go from there. First unsuccessful expedition for me.

Back on the highway, the boyfriend did some more research on the hashpoint. He learned on the town's website that this road was an aborted project because the other end was on a farm that didn't want to sell. Probably the owner of the no-trespassing sign.

Plans

I am in Montreal for a work trip but going home to Quebec City tonight. The haspoint seems accessible and only 8min out of the itinerary. I'll need to drag along the boyfriend but it will be the first expedition in this graticule.

Expedition

We finished work and got on the road. We add over an hour and a half to go with the Montreal traffic. It's kinda of a joke for the locals, the quantity of traffic getting on and off the island. Public transportation is booming but it's still not there.

I was the one driving and the boyfriend was more motivated than expected. He liked the fact that we were unlocking this graticule.

We exited the highway in Drummondville but stayed on a main road till a dirt road on the left. We were greeted by two large garbage containers and a road sign: "Nul ne peut circuler sur ces lots. À moins d'avoir été autorisé par les autorités compétentes." It is sort of a "you should ask to pass". Since we were not going to stay long and we didn't see anyone around; we decided to continue. But further, we hit a more clear no-trespassing sign. It is a no-go from there. First unsuccessful expedition for me.

Back on the highway, the boyfriend researched the hashpoint more. He learned on the town's website that this road was an aborted project because the other end was on a farm that didn't want to sell. Probably the owner of the no-trespassing sign.
