I had plans to visit family in the area today, so when I saw the hash point was in a super reachable location I knew I had to stop by at some point. I met up with Rookiek13 and we arrived at the hotel together. The point was along a fence that ran the length of the property line, but fortunately neither of us needed to hop the fence to reach the point. I settled for a GPS distance of 2.4 ft (0.73m) but Rookiek13 insisted on getting as close to zero as possible. So I had the pleasure of watching as she performed the newest viral TikTok dance of repeatedly taking single steps in various 90 degree directions as she attempted to beat me at a game of Closest to the Pin. She won, with a final distance of less than 0.5 feet (>0.15m). After that we took our photos with our respective hashscots Sylvie and Geo and then went to get lunch!

I was going about my day when Tarasaurus texted me. There was a hashpoint nearby! We met up and headed to the point. The point was near the fence, so we got within the margin of error for proof. I began the sacred hashdance: 90 degree steps in various directions until my position indicator touched the tip of the flagpole. (Tarasaurus, I regret to say, does not dance). Then it was time for our hashscot photos and off to a victory lunch!
