As it reached 2pm, I felt like I needed a break between shifts. As much as I enjoy geohashing, I didn't want to drive for 2 hours before then rushing to work. Unfortunately this meant no meet-up, and no geohash in West Lothian, but I'm glad to see George and Susanne still made it, despite the bus issue!

More or less as planned, except the 'X38 bus' part. It turns out that the | Linlithgow 10K race was on today, at exactly the time we planned to take the bus toward the hashpoint. The road was blocked so several hundred runners could run down the street, and the buses were diverted on a big loop around town. It was just over a mile from the rail station to the hashpoint, so we walked, arriving 10 minutes or so later than originally planned. We had hoped to meet up with KerrMcF there, but he was unable to make it. He sent us much-appreciated notice, so we didn't wait around for him.

The hashpoint was near an apple tree just off the sidewalk in a neighborhood of nice houses with attractive front gardens.
