Back home, my computer decided that it doesn't want to talk with the camera any more, so I'm sorry, I can't upload the pictures I took. If I ever happen to get that fixed, I'll add pictures, but the sensible solution actually would be to throw the camera out of the window.

Although the sensible solution actually would be to throw the camera out of the window, threatening both of them with this outlook (and treating them with another driver software I hadn't tried before) finally convinced the camera to hand out most of the pictures it held back. So, here are four of them.

About

On a field just outside of Kusterdingen near Tübingen.

Expedition: Ekorren

Finally - my own graticule.

The trip was rather uneventful. I started early around 2 pm to take a small detour and try a multi cache near to the hash. I hadn't brought a map nor looked up the way in advance, neither took the direct one (thought it would be clever to go around the hill instead of over it), but I was quite sure there was a way from Lustnau to the stage 1 of the cache. Maybe I was right, but if so, it wasn't the one I took as when I reached the end of the slope I was almost exactly where I had been if I had taken the short way - three kilometres from my destination and don't mention elevation. I found the starting point of the cache around 2:40 and set off. Made it on non-direct ways (and don't mention elevation) until stage 5 (of 7), where there was definitely nothing which looked like what was asked for in the description, so I guess I had made an error. It was almost half past three now, so I decided to drop it and find the hash point instead.

Reached the hash point at around 3:40 - almost. It turned out that there was new seed on that field which I didn't want to trample on. So I stayed on the way but still got near until appr. 12 metres, so I count it as a success. There were quite many people around, walking, jogging, some on tractors, even a hot-air balloon seemed to try to reach the coordinates (successlessly, anyway), but noone stopped - so I guess they all didn't know where they really had been and thus, by sheer ignorance, denied the possibility to attend the first saturday 4 pm meetup in this graticule. Well, you can't force them. I waited until 4:00 pm, then I left my sign, took another photo as a proof and left the place. 4:04 pm: Noone here, search failed.

Back home, my computer decided that it doesn't want to talk with the camera any more. Although the sensible solution actually would be to throw the camera out of the window, threatening both of them with this outlook (and treating them with another driver software I hadn't tried before) finally convinced the camera to hand out most of the pictures it held back. So, here are four of them.

nick_mz was a bit late. I arrived at 16:24 and found a little sign...
