The Columbia, South Carolina graticule is located around latitude 34, longitude -81. This graticule is unusual in that it has a fairly large city in three of its four corners:

  • Spartanburg in the northwest
  • Rock Hill in the northeast
  • Columbia in the southeast

In addition, Columbia is split between this graticule and the Augusta, Georgia graticule.

Also in the graticule is Sumter National Forest, which is about one-quarter of the entire area of the graticule.
