I don't know whether the -7 in your expedition longitude was a typo or a dash, but I'll explain just in case. If the coordinates are west of the prime meridian, the longitude is negative, e.g. I'm in W123 or -123. If you're east of the prime meridian, you get positive longitudes, so you're at +7.
