Participants

Euterkuh and fivetonsofflax. In case you're wondering why we always go on expeditions together: fivetonsofflax owns a GPS device but neither a cell phone nor a camera, so we kind of depend on each other.

Plans

Both this point and the hashpoint in our home graticule 49 8 could be reached with our students' tickets. We decided for this one in order to get closer to the first level of the Minesweeper achievement. Since the hashpoint was very close to the station of Weidenthal, there wasn't a lot of preparation to be done.

400 meters height above sea level. The hashpoint was at 500 m, Weidenthal is at 300 m.

On Walpurigs Night, the children walk through town and play pranks, so on May 1st, there's toilet paper and shaving foam everywhere.
