Plan [1]:
Very, very approximate and open to change if anybody wants to join me :)
- 8:30 - depart UBC, bike downtown to Granville & Cordova, go to the Waterfront Station
- 9:30 - SeaBus to Lonsdale Quay
- 10:30 - Chadwick -> Chesterfield -> 13th -> Grand Blvd (becomes Lynn Valley) -> Rice Lake Road -> Lillooet -> Seymour Falls Dam Rd (about 15 km, but uphill)
- 12:30 - leave bike by the dam, go hiking with GPS (about 2 km) (note: looks like there's a logging road that goes pretty close to the point, so it could be maybe a 200m hike, maybe doable on my bike)
- 14:30 - get to hashpoint
- 15:30 - start hiking back
- 17:30 - bike back from there
- 20:30 - get home
Expedition
To be written.
Sneak peak details: the hashpoint fell behind a tall fence with barbed wire with an ominous "No Trespassing - City Watershed" sign.
