Plans

Jim was startled to discover the hashpoint was nearby again. Two days in a row. Planning consisted of programming the GPS, examining Google Maps, and see if any of my co-workers had helpful information about the area.

Expedition

I headed to this hashpoint after work. We might have ninja geohashers in the graticules, but I think we would have some signs.

I suspected the hashpoint was pretty inaccessible, and I was right. I went hoping Google might be wrong and I could get to it easily. It was about a quarter mile from the road, far into someone's property, hidden from the road by a lot of trees. I didn't want to disturb them as it was late, and was getting dark.

I got pretty scenery heading there as I went up Bald Peak, and there was a very nice view of the Portland Metro area night lights as I came back down the hill to head home. The Pacific Northwest can be very pretty, which is one reason I live here.
