Location

At the north end of the Winslow Sports Complex, near the tennis courts, just over a kilometer (77 meters too far for a Couch Potato Geohash honorable mention) from the home of Erik and Kira.

Participants

Mouse! stopped by in the afternoon, and later in the evening Erik and Kira made a quick visit. Also some guy with a couple dogs and an entire baseball team's worth of deer.

Plans

Erik

Erik wants to walk down from home with Duncan sometime in the early evening. Whether Kira attends depends on her schedule. We may come back later in the evening as well.

Expedition

Mouse walked over early for his first geohash because it looked like a break in the weather. Then he got wet on the way home, anyway.

The weather prevented Erik and Kira from obtaining a Walk geohash, but they stopped by on their way to Kira's orchestra rehearsal. The coordinates were easy to find, and if the sun had been up, this might have been a good candidate for a Hash collision with the last stage of the excellent night-ish multicache "Imperial 'Night' Game", depending on how thick the trees were. The fences around the baseball fields have been removed for some reason (the poles are still there, but the fencing is gone), and a large group of deer had colonized the infield. I could not tell who was winning. We also met someone walking their dogs despite the late hour and the dribbly weather.
