I wanted to do a bicycle geohash. Since I live in the eastern part of Västerås I first had to cross the city. Starting distance was 13 km, but choosing a suboptimal route I ended up going 12 km before I even got out of the city (with 6 km remaining). There is a bike/pedestrian track all the way to Dingtuna, so from there on it was straight-forward.

Entering the quarry was prohibited, so I didn't. Strictly speaking the hashpoint was just on the edge, but with warning signs about blasting and heavy truck traffic it just didn't feel like a place I should be climbing around near.

I was also trying out my new camera, an Olympus X-560WP-LE. I'm not entirely satisfied but it's good enough for casual photographing. I got it mostly for videoblogging in the shower.

Strictly speaking the hashpoint was just on the edge, but with warning signs about blasting and heavy truck traffic passing me by it just didn't feel like a place I should be climbing around near.

I was also trying out my new camera, an Olympus X-560WP-LE. I'm not entirely satisfied but it's good enough for casual photographing. I got it mostly for videoblogging in the shower.
