Since the geohash was located so conveniently close to home, I thought I would attempt the Walk Geohash achievement this time. Being familiar enough with the area, I knew how to walk there without needing a map, but I decided to look up the tentative distance on Google Maps - about 4km one way! Better put on a good pair of shoes. Printed out a map with the Street View on it, packed my MP3 player, my phone and my camera, and I set out at 3.45pm. It was a long and pretty mindless walk, as it turned out - I had nothing but the goal in mind - so mindless, in fact, that an hour later I missed the road entrance to the hashpoint and had to walk a few hundred metres back. Once there, I took a few photos, walked over the hashpoint, and trekked towards nearby Chong Pang where my parents were waiting to pick me up (well, to buy durians really, but anyway).

In total, I walked approximately 6.3km to and from the hashpoint (4.4km to, 1.9km back - if Google Maps is anything to go by).
