The Expedition
TheOneRing
Well, it has been a while since my last geohash and I thought that I should go for a new one.
The geohash today was not very far from Berne and easily to reach by train. From the trainstation Lützelflüh-Goldbach (not kidding) it was approx. 1.5 km as the bird flies and the total way was approx. 2.6 km with 200m up in altitude. The weather was really nice, sunny and warm, so walking was fun. There were many people enjoying the conditions but unfortunately no fellow geohashers.
I passed some wonderful farm houses and barns on my way. They seemed to be quite old but in a good shape, because they are still in use and not only some kind of architectural monument.
The view from the geohash was really nice, down a valley and onto some cows out a feed. They were quite unimpressed of my presence and continued eating grass. Maybe I did not look delicious enough.
I took the usual photographs, walked back and took some more photos. Very nice trip all in all.
