Expedition

Wouter contacted Mennoowh to visit this hash which was within an hour of cycling of both our houses. After some random guessing and debating we decided to let this be a Twisterhash, as we thought other achievements (Hobbit) too much of a hassle. Also, the weather was not so warm that I wanted to walk the whole way barefoot... Wouter convinced Eva and Ruben to come along, Mennoowh was just speaking with Steffen and convincing him to wait before his house for us to come along.

With a party of 5 we then cycled through Zeist along a golf club which apparently hosted a party with a white-and-glitter theme (not pictured, as the costumes of random passers-by who were going there were a little awkward).

After an uneventful ride we left our bikes at the road and entered a path just on the other side of the A28 highway. After discovering some computer-flotsam and jetsam we were half-half expecting other hashers to have been there before us, but apart from the 2 or 3 floppy disks we saw nothing. The hashlocation itself was on the left, just past an already torn-down fence. Here we layed down our playfield and played twister! With this the five of us all earned the Twister Achievement, which hasn't been claimed since almost 4 years! We tried a little competition of 1 vs 1 matches, as 4 people together on the Twister sheet surely would have damaged it. See pictures for Twister fun, yay!

Having claimed our achievements and fed up with the noisy and cold forest, and before someone could have asked what the heck we were doing there, we cycled back to Zeist to have a few nice beers on a terrace while Russia beat Czechia beat Poland and/or Greece. Can't remember.
