The hashers are in the general area anyway so why not visit?

Expedition

We picked a parking spot off the country road and got there at 11am despite numerous signs telling us that the road would be closed the way we're going. Very strange. LadyBB didn't trust them though and we got there just fine.

It was a beautiful sunny day and we had a very nice 2.5 kilometer walk (one way). The track actually lead us past a number of wind turbines that were still in the process of being built so the uppermost segments as well as the rotors where still missing. Still those things are quite impressive if you walk past them.

About 50 meters from the hash we spooked a wild pig and had to retreat and try again from a different angle. That was a good thing as the second approach was also a lot easier due to a lot less undergrowth.

On our way back we actually encountered another three wild pigs crossing the road, but they were gone too quickly to get a shot of them.

Definitely one of the nicer expeditions lately :)
