Meet at 4pm just west of the intersection of Delridge Way and SW Oregon St, by the side of the ballfield. (Blue marker on the Peeron link.) Walk up the road to the house. AeroIllini will reportedly bring games.
Expedition
OtherJack and AeroIllini met at the proposed alternate location (@47.5628,-122.3634) at approximately 4:15. Meetup achieved! AeroIllini was a little late getting back from his previous hash attempt in the Astoria graticule. After waiting around for any other hashers to show up, they headed for the hills... specifically, the hill of 23rd Ave SW, toward the hash. They easily found the house where the point was located, but no one was at home and both were reticent to wander into a private lawn uninvited. So, photos were taken from the base of a retaining wall adjacent to the next-door driveway, within 45 ft or so of the point.
OtherJack and AeroIllini were surprised to learn that they both attended the same college in undergrad (University of Illinois), although not at the same time and not in the same major.
