Nestled in the West Hills
Participants
Plans
Go by after final Farmer's market of the year
Expedition
After I had found most of what I was needing for this week at the market, I headed east.
I would have actually hit this hashpoint yesterday, except that I was taking public transit instead of driving, so I wasn't going to end up close to the hashpoint.
As I expected, the route was pretty much one I have traveled before going to and from work when I do end up driving all the way in. I passed the Hillsdale Library and headed up the hill behind it, and kept following twisting routes up. I finally found the little road with the hashpoint on it, and stopped to take a photo.
A man approached me, wondering what I was doing. I started to explain about the scavenger hunt and he wandered off, saying there were 4 different Westview roads and suggesting I make sure I had the right one.
I decided not to try to get access to the hashpoint, which might as well have been a good idea given the slope of the area.
I headed home.
