Very simple hash this one. I was off work during my fly-out time of R&R when I awoke in the morning to discover this hash. Not super-convenient, but in the direction of the brew shop I was planning to visit that day. Jumping in the car (I was buying kegs, too bulky for the bike) I drove out to Yarraville to pick up my gear. Then, driving further out along the Western Highway, I got to the industrial borderlands of Melbourne to engage my geohash.
It took me about an hour to stop the car, climb the low barbed wire fence and amble one kilometre across the fields towards the hash and back. In the process I stepped in a bog, getting my feet wet, and trepidatiously avoided any snakes that might have been lurking in the long grass. At last, standing on a copse of basalt rocks, I jiggled around until I was at the hash, took some photos, and returned along the fenceline of a factory to return to the car.
Hash reached: approx. 3:10pm
