Hi! My name is Dave and I live in south Durham, NC, in the Raleigh (35, -78) graticule.
I heard about geohashing back when it started, and have been itching to try it ever since. 5 years later, my wife is on board, and we plan on geohashing soon. The plan is to try and geohash once a week. We live conveniently near the northwest corner of the Raleigh graticule, which should give us our pick of 4 different hash points within a relatively short distance in the Greensboro, Henderson, Chapel Hill and Raleigh graticules. Lucky us!
