Went there. Walked out the basement door and downhill; stopped for coffee, headed for hash, stopped to chat up policeman enjoying his coffee & donut parked near where I was headed. He'd been geocaching with his kids, and decided I wasn't suspicious. Found the gate to the parking lot open, wandered in, found the hash, had a pie, took photos, and carefully wandered out along the other side of the lot, up the other side of the street, up another street and around the block, returning home from the other direction, and entered my home through the uphill door.

Tried keeping a tracklog on my trusty old Garmin eTrex Vista - now all I have to do is find the serial cable it came with, and then find a computer with a serial port...
