This looked like a pretty easy geohash to reach, requiring about five miles of detour on the Death Valley-to-Sequoia leg of a family road trip.
Expedition
It was an easy geohash to reach. Dad was the only one to get out of the car, intending to serve as my photographer. Unfortunately, I had already set off into the orchard with the GPS when he got moving, and I had already reached the hashpoint by the time I realized he wasn't following me. He was, in fact, looking on the other side of the road.
We did get pictures documenting the geohash, but I have not retrieved them from the phone with which they were taken.
Following this geohash, we returned to highway 99 and headed to Sequoia National Park, but were not allowed to enter the park due to lacking snow chains.
