marketwatch.com (published by Dow Jones Inc, the DJ of DJIA) gives 16371.76 as the opening price on Sept. 4. So I'd say Google had it right and Yahoo Finance had it wrong, and you deserve "coordinates reached." Mcbaneg (talk) 14:30, 12 September 2015 (EDT)

Thanks for that feedback - sounds like that is the source to trust. Let's call it coordinates reached then, yahoo! (Although in the circumstances, that's a pretty inappropriate exclamation to use :) ) By the way, do you know how the coordinates on the expedition archive page, like this one: http://wiki.xkcd.com/geohashing/2015-09-08 are generated?
