Plans

Travel to Capilla del Monte with my kid, grab something to eat and try to reach the hashpoint aiming for a Consecutive Achievement.

Expedition

Again a sunny Sunday, around 25ºC, so off we went with Juan to try this new hashpoint. Started around 10:30am the trip, driving first North from Córdoba to Capilla del Monte through the sierras using E53 and turning left to Camino del Cuadrado after Rio Ceballos. After that we took RN38 from Valle Hermoso to Capilla del Monte, where we stopped for lunch.

After that, we went North again to Charbonier, a little town, and some more up to Escobas, a village even smaller. Took a dirt road for 5km going up the sierras, and the hashpoint was to be found 30m to our right.

After battling some more thorns (like the previous time in this graticule) but carrying a 2yro this time, we reached the hashpoint in a rocky space between the bushes. Put poster in place, took some pictures and got back quickly as it was very hot.

Got the first tier (2) of the Consecutive Geohash achievement this time! And again the raptors (probably descending from the Austroraptor cabazai) left their marks in our arms.
