Visiting the wrong coordinates for the day is not geohashing. On the multihash achievement page, you can see it says that "the achievement can be claimed when you venture to multiple sets of coordinates on the correct day" (my emphasis) and on the achievements page itself, the "Commemorative Dates (Retro Expeditions)" section reminds you that "achievements in every other section on this page represent visiting that day's coordinates in any graticule" (again, my emphasis). Remember that geohashing was intended to be a spontaneous adventure generator. Visiting previous coordinates, for which you have ample time to prepare, is not really geohashing. So the geohashing achievements often specifically state that they only apply to the correct day's coordinates. — <span style="text-shadow:grey 0.2em 0.2em 0.1em; class=texhtml">Benjw</span> {talk} 00:01, 19 November 2015 (EST) |

Retro / multihash
Nice expedition, and even better that a great geocache was neatly in the middle! Unfortunately, I believe the multihash achievement does specify that the hashpoints have to be reached on the correct day, i.e. retros aren't included. — Benjw {talk} 17:00, 18 November 2015 (EST)

Can I find that somewhere in the rules?
If one can use a plane, why not do a retro?

- Using a plane and doing a retro are two rather different concepts. In a plane you do still reach the coordinates on the correct day, so it is still geohashing. — Benjw {talk} 00:01, 19 November 2015 (EST)
