Viability study for Tongs/B
Okay, the hashpoint could have been out in the middle of nowhere, but instead its within a convenient distance of Kings Lynn railway station. On the other hand, it's Kings Lynn railway station, roughly 150km from me. The journey to the hashpoint would be about three hours each way would cost me about £60. The prospect of crop damage stopping us reaching the point is not ideal either. Disappointing.
Sourcerer, you said you might be trying the London hashpoints. For London West, I have discovered that both St Albans and my local station is on the Thameslink, so to get to St Albans at least would be a direct journey. This makes things a bit more possible. The London East one is sort of in the middle of nowhere near Chelmsford, and Google tells me it would take two hours or so to get to.
Failing that, we can see how things turn out for Mouse-over Day.
