I was going to pick up Nixill at his home after retrohashing 1992-06-16 42 -83 on my way there, and we'd drive along the route of the NXS Eastern Fast Line, a bus route in a fictional system created by him, to get a video recording along the route. Since the Eastern Fast Line takes us within two miles of the hashpoint, we decided to take a small detour mid-route to visit it, then finish up the route and get lunch at Oakland mall which is the line's terminus.

Expedition

Pretty much as planned, except I was late picking up Nix due to having to do my laundry beforehand, and we fell further behind schedule as the day progressed, and I failed to reach the retrohash I was attempting due to no-trespassing signs and barricaded roads. We also made a bit of a detour to check out a street corner (15 Mile and Mound Rd) that Nix was considering putting a stop at on another fictional bus line.

After we drove the entire Eastern Fast Line both ways, I drove to a local grocery store with Nix and we returned a lot of cans and picked up his groceries.

Achievements

Nixill earned the OpenStreetMap achievement by contributing to OpenStreetMap based on their expedition to the (42, -83) geohash on 2019-01-06.
