Remove this section if you don't want an image at the top (left) of your report.  You should remove the "Image:" or "File:"

tag from your image file name, and replace the all upper-case word IMAGE in the above line.

And DON'T FORGET to add your expedition and the best photo you took to the gallery on the Main Page! We'd love to read your report, but that means we first have to discover it! :)

Plans

The first time since I started geohashing that the hashpoint actually falls inside the Toulouse metropolitan area: it's in the outskirts, but still pretty reachable by bike, so I hope to be able to achieve No Batteries, Bike and Tron achievements all in one go.

Expedition

I had another bike ride earlier on that day with a group of friends, so I only set out to do the geohash at around 3 pm. I got to the Arènes metro station by memory, and then consulted the map that I had printed to get to the street where the hashpoint is supposed to be at, despite one treacherous roundabout that did not provide the exit that I wished to take.

Unfortunately, it turns out that the hashpoint was right in the middle of a house instead of at the roadside, and I was still a good 12 m away from it even if I stood at the door. I doubted that they would be forthcoming enough to let a complete stranger in for an unknown, so I had to declare forfeit. It was so close though!
