I'm living and working in Oldenburg, Germany. Reading and enjoying xkcd since 2006, I'll occasionally be trying to reach near geohashes by bike.

2008-08-20 53 8 This Geohash is located on a strawberry field near Wehnen, a bit west of the city of Oldenburg.
2008-07-30 53 8 My first Geohash, located on a yard in Oldenburg. Finally documented after twelve years. ;-)

by cycling 7.1 km/5.2 km to and from the (53, 8) geohash on 2008-07-30.

Alaska earned the Two to the N achievement

by attempting to reach 2¹ hashpoints on 2008-08-20 53 8 and is promoted to Level 1 (Expeditions).

Alaska earned the Ambassador achievement

by obtaining permission from Houseowner to access the (53, 8) geohash on 2020-07-03.
