In a recently-felled timber plantation near Loy Yang Power Station.

It looked like I was best-placed to continue our Victorian streak. Rob had put in a heroic effort the day before to bring us to 13 days - and I was determined to do what I could to make it 14.

I took some unscheduled leave and knocked off work at lunch. The ride was superb, thanks in part to a gentle semi-tailwind, but owing more to the tremendous route through farmland, parks, plantation and bush. Photos can do it more justice than narrative can.
