This was a relatively easy and simple hash to reach. It had been raining for most of the day, but there was a break in the rain for an hour or two late in the evening, so we headed out then. Our timing was good, as the rain stayed away until after returning home.
The hashpoint was easy to reach, on the edge of the lot, in the grassy area between the sidewalk and the road. Only a small amount of hash dancing was required to get within range, and most of it was because I had initially thought the point was in the front yard itself rather than on the grassy strip on the other end of the sidewalk.
On the way back we made a detour (as the road we had initially planned on taking had several police cars with flashing lights on it!) and stopped at a nearby park, Nazos Park, where I took a few minutes to walk around and nominate a few things in Wayfarer.
A straightforward geohash and a nice excuse for a little outing in a suburb not far from my own, but in an area I hadn't had a chance to explore previously.
