| − | My sleep was rudly interrupted by someone who dialed the wrong number. There were still four hours left until classes started, but I could not get back to sleep, though. I rode my bike down to the shore: I already wore my warmest pants, however I was freezing my balls off since it was very windy. The past night temperatures dropped to -12.5°C making the water condensate at the inner side of windows at my place, but this morning the IR-thermometer I brought only showed -4.5°C. Well, a [[Frozen Geohash]] at last. During the night there had been no clouds at the sky but now the view across the river was totally unimpressive and the ice was all dirty and did not look nice and shiny in any way. On the other hand locating the geohash was quite easy: A small mysterious sign without anything written on it seemed to be exactly at the hash. I fiddled around with numb icy fingers trying to take pictures but failed to take a proper photo with Stupid Grin<sup>tm</sup>. Returning home my nose was at 14°C. Maybe I should create a "Coldest Geohasher" award.
