About
The coordinates for this day were in Lansing, beside some railroad tracks, and easily accessible.
Expedition
excellentdude: I was planning on not geohashing today and trying to make it out later in the week. When today's coordinates came out, though, I had to try for them. They were in Lansing and the closest ones to where I live yet. I could have gone for another public transport geohash, but I did not feel like taking 2.5 hours to go 8 miles there and back. From the satellite view of the map I could see the coordinates were near railroad tracks and right inside a service turnoff for them. I drove out there, and of course the service turnoff was buried under snow and not visible from the road. I pulled into the auto body shop parking lot across the street and headed out. Luckily some large vehicle had turned into the railroad service turnoff earlier in the day. I was able to follow those tracks straight to the hash point and not have to get knee deep in snow!
