Report
This was another close Geohash, about 45 minutes away from our home, and just north of the small town of Youngsville in a trailer park. Therefore, we decided to do a midnight run and possibly grab another Frozen Geohash achievement. We were pleased to find the Geohash actually located in the road, so we circled around and made a Speed Racer run over the extremely bumpy dirt road at the hair-raising speed of 5mph/8kph.
We then parked the truck and walked uphill to the hash, thereby alerting a dog who would not stop barking. We wanted to wait for the temperature to drop below the freezing mark, but the barking dog and general feel of the trailer park made for an uneasy feeling, so we decide to leave. But, we stopped in Youngsville to take some pictures and thereby hopefully entertain our Geohashing friends in distant lands.
- This makes our 5th consecutive Geohash, having started on 14 January 2009.
