This is why everyone should have a mini-camera tripod, and learn to use the self-timer feature on their camera. It took several tries to take this shot. I thought the timer function wasn't timing and that I was going to have a whole pile of pictures of Wade and Rhonda with a gap in the middle, but I didn't. I just wasn't holding the button long enough to start the timing sequence.
I love the results. You can see the cliff, the trees, and even a tiny speck of Long Bay in the ocean behind us.
