It was the best of hashes, it was the worst of hashes, it was a hash of wisdom, it was within stupidity distance, it was not trespassing I believe, it was done while others stood incredulous, it was a Sunrise Achievement, it was a Midnight Achievement, it was another Geohashing Day, it was an attempt for a Coldest Geohash, we had made Mother Nature our bitch, she had made us hers, we were at a Holy Hash, we were all insane - in short, the hash was much like any other hash, in that it was reported on the wiki, it was awesome, and it was terrible, in the superlative degree of comparison only.
Description of Achievement
This cooperative achievement is achieved by a pair of geohashers. The first geohasher would attend a geohash in a place, for example, Vancouver, Washington, USA (in the Portland, Oregon graticule). That person, having proved their hash at that particular point, puts out a challenge to a geoahsher in a place with the same place name. (for example, Robyn of Vancouver, British Columbia).
That geohasher has seven days or until a hash falls within the area's limit to do a geohash in the same name, which ever is the longer time period. If they are successful, both geohashers gain this achievement.
Special distinction should be given to a pair of geohashers who manage to complete this achievement in a single day or in particularly small areas. Particularly amusing stretching to get this achievement should also receive note (pairing Earth, Texas[1] with any other geohash, for instance).
