Winter was indeed a lot less bad than last year(and I bought Marathon Winter tyres last winter, so when the snow came I could still do some distance), and remember everything is flat where I live, so distance is pretty easy to gain. Elevation is an entire other matter.

Mein Fahrrad

I just took my beautiful German bike out of the box and put it back together! Now if it would just stop raining for long enough, I can ride it to school tomorrow! Those are some awesome pictures of you biking through the snow. Tell Manu I say Hi, and congratulations!

Hi! Good to hear, that it savely arrived in Vancouver! The trip yesterday was my first (!) this year. You may imagine, how badly weather conditions are in Germany these days. Have fun with the bike and show it (and us) some more beautiful hashpoints!--Reinhard 09:04, 22 January 2010 (UTC)

Cycling the distance

Yes, I'm at 3021km for the year now: http://www.mycyclinglog.com/profile/arvid Commuting 60km 3 days a week certainly helps. Note that I'm only at the bottom end of the top 10 in the yacf.co.uk group on mycyclinglog.
