After a fun filled day at work with Halloween parties, I decided to drive on out to this hash even though it was pouring down raining. I drive to the center of Atlanta and hop on I-20 heading east. Traffic is about average for this time maybe a little heavier because of the rain.

I pull up on the hash spot and notice a gate across the path to the service road to the power lines. [1]. I then noice that the fence is only about 50 feet long and stops in front of the house. I notice that there is not a side fence bordering the house[2].

I go and knock on the door of the house and an older gentleman answers the door. He opens the door to tell me that he isn't interested in any thing that I am selling and closes the door.

I knock again and tell him through the door that I am not selling anything that I am looking for something that happens to be on the property under the power lines. Through the door he says "Go ahead." Permission granted.

As I pulled up and parked under the High tension lines, I could hear the hum and sizzle of the power lines above me. I was actually worried at one point when I needed to climb a hill under the power lines with it raining as hard as it was, would I get a jolt of my life. At the top of the small hill I could feel the amount of electricity in the air and hurriedly walked down the hill to the hash spot.

I find the hash spot with 1.25 feet to go and take a few pictures. Soaked, I walk back to my truck walking around the hill avoiding getting shocked. I then drive to back to Norcross.
