Hello, i wish to find out if there is any gps that DOES NOT have the track log function. Please let me know. I am doing a research on it and will like to know which gps has not got the function.
Thanks.
- Without being able to point at a specific device: Basically, the GPS chip and the storage are two separate functions, and storage may not be physically present in some devices. Furthermore, many cellphones and PDAs need special software (apps) to store the tracklog. It all depends on what the device was designed for. Car navigation systems for example usually do not store a tracklog or do not provide an interface to read it out. -- relet 15:57, 21 January 2010 (UTC)
