Expedition

Hopped in my car, drove to the easy launching point. Jumped out, and walked the 10 minutes to find myself in somebody's front yard, the GPS telling me that I want to be directly underneath the tin awning they had. I needed to stand just outside to get the GPS coords, but I promise I was there. ;)
The problem was that it was somebody's front yard... awkward... and some poor kid wandered out as I was leaving, and didn't come over, so I continued walking away. As I got farther, he and his mom drove by, giving me the strangest looks... oops. Are there any awards for freaking out the locals?
