Near Schleitheim, Kanton Schaffhausen, Switzerland

Bus stop Gächlingen, Näppental is served every 30 minutes by line 21 from Schaffhausen, Beringen and Schleitheim.

Weather forecast: mostly overcast, no rain, between 0 and 7 °C.

Possible Participants

not all of these has finally decided yet, though.

Expedition planning

Nothing is fixed yet. Current plans narrow down to meet around 12 at Schaffhausen, take a train to Beringen and the bus from there to the hash. After hash plans include visiting the Rhine fall and Schaffhausen city.

Getting there

From Schaffhausen

  • Bus at 12:02 from Schaffhausen, arriving Gächlingen Näppental 12:26, 7.20 CHF. ETA hash 12:45.
  • Train to Beringen at 12:02, arriving 12:10. Run and try to catch the same bus as above, leaving from bus stop Beringen Sonne at 12:13 (distance 200m), or the next one half an hour later. 4.20 CHF. ETA hash 12:45 or 13:15
  • Train to Neunkirch, walk to the hash. Walking distance 7 km (instead of 1 km from the bus stop), 0.00 CHF. ETA hash 14:00

  • Schaffhausen 11:24, just wait for group
  • Blumberg-Zollhaus 9:58, continue by bike (20 km)
