Expedition

We left around 17:30 and started the drive down I-94 to Madison. It was a pretty leisurely expedition, as we didn't have any agenda regarding this hash. Using high-tech satellite imagery, we had determined that it was in a parking spot of a building in Madison, Wisconsin. We knew nothing more.

Typing I-94 shenanigans ensued: drivers not choosing lanes, sudden bottlenecks as police cruisers scanned for speeders, headlights flashing in rage. But we arrived in Madison safe, if not slightly sore from the ride.

Bassoon is a nervous city driver. He can't help it! So many pedestrians to run in front of his car. The last time he was in Madison, he tried turning onto State Street. This time, however, no illegalities occurred and traffic was bearable, due to the Packer-Falcons game that had started at 19:00.

After navigating a confusing array of one-way streets, highways, and bike lanes, Bassoon and Montana found themselves pulling into the parking lot of the Red Cross.

We pulled into the parking spot adjacent to the spot in which the hash had parked itself. We took the requisite photos and got back into the car as quickly as possible. It was cold out there!

As we sat in the parking lot, trying to find somewhere to eat, Montana said slowly, "You know we just drove an hour and a half for a parking spot, right?"

We went to Noodles and Company for dinner, then made the trek home. What a great night!
