The Norwich graticule was first visited in March 2009 by Benjw. He made another visit in April. MagicIan made his debut in November. There were only three expeditions (two successful) in 2009.
2009 Expeditions
- 2009-11-27 (Friday): MagicIan successfully completed a hash in a field just north of Aylsham - his first ever Geohash.

- 2009-04-23 (Thursday): In a field near Crowfield, east of Stowmarket. Benjw planned to cycle here from Cambridge, but ran out of time and energy to make it in time for the last train home.
- 2009-03-09 (Monday): There hasn't been any activity yet in this graticule, so Benjw came up from Cambridge to grab a hash in some pleasant UEA-owned woodland near Cringleford.
