Neil got to within 20 metres of the hashpoint without trespassing. It was nearly dark and to go further might have caused alarm to the local residents. On a summers day, one could have bribed a child to retreive a ball or kite whilst carrying in the GPS receiver. Would that count as a "Proxy Geohash"?
Walberswick is a popular summer seaside resort where the access road sometimes has to be closed because all the car parks are full. There are low sand dunes between the beach and salt marsh. These provide shelter from the wind and sun bathing is possible but not in March. Tonight there was only one car in the car park.
Sourcerer earned the No trespassing consolation prize
