Geography of the four quadrants

According to the [1], the 51°N circle of latitude passes along 59th or 60th Avenue S.. 114°W is represented by parts of Highway 2/Deerfoot Trail, Barlow Trail, Ogden Road, and 24 Street E.. The creatively-named Meridian Road runs just alongside Barlow. South of Fish Creek Park, the meridian roughly follows the Bow River.

The S.E. quadrant reaches deep into the Kananaskis Country and over the continental divide into British Columbia.
