Location
In the middle of a street about 6km north of where I was (friend's place).

Alphonse, Jefferson Fingolo and Rafael Peixoto
Plans
We originally planned to go with another 2 friends, but they couldn't go.
Expedition
We left Rafael's place at 4:15pm, took a bus to a nearby avenue, then walked to the geohash, arriving at 5:13pm. On the way back, we took another bus to downtown. One little detail is that we spoke English (not our mother language (Alphonse: fluent, Jefferson and Rafael: learning)) all the way to the geohash.
